Get Your Book Reviewed With Us To Promote Readership
Literary Book Reviews is a boutique business in Los Angeles that offers services for authors like you to get your book reviewed. We also offer author interviews to maximize your readership.
We provide reviews on Goodreads, Instagram, Netgalley, Twitter, Barnes and Noble and more. We provide reviews of new releases here as well as interviews for authors here.
One review is $75 for a blurb of a minimum of 150 words, AND we post it across all our social media/book review platforms (Goodreads, IG, Netgalley, X, BarnesandNoble.com).
Authors need book reviews because they provide essential feedback that helps them gauge the impact of their work on readers. Reviews offer insights into what resonates with audiences, what could be improved, and whether the themes or characters are well-received. Positive reviews can boost an author's credibility, attract new readers, and enhance their reputation within the literary community.
Additionally, reviews serve as a powerful marketing tool, as word-of-mouth recommendations can increase visibility and sales. Constructive criticism helps authors grow in their craft, refine their writing, and ultimately produce even better works in the future.

How Much Do Book Reviews Usually Cost?
The cost of book reviews can vary greatly depending on several factors, such as the reviewer’s reputation, the platform they’re on, and the type of review you're seeking. Here are some general ranges:
Independent Bloggers/Book Reviewers: Some independent reviewers may offer free reviews, especially if they’re passionate about the genre or your book. Others may charge a small fee, often between $20 to $100. The cost may depend on the length of the review, the reviewer’s audience, and whether they offer additional promotion (e.g., social media shares).
Book Review Websites (Paid Services): There are professional book review websites that offer paid reviews. These often come with guaranteed reviews (sometimes within a certain time frame). Costs for these services can range from $50 to $500 or more, depending on the site and its reach. Examples include services like Kirkus Reviews (which can cost around $400–$500 for an indie review) or Reedsy. We are a book review website, and we charge $75 for a review that’s available on six platforms. We are on the very low end of the scale regarding price, as we want to keep this affordable for authors.
Major Review Outlets (e.g., Publishers Weekly, Booklist): Some large-scale review publications (such as Publishers Weekly or Booklist) charge for submission reviews. These can be costly and range from $150 to $1,000 or higher, and they usually require that your book be submitted for consideration. However, getting a review from these major outlets can be highly influential.
Social Media Influencers: Many social media influencers, especially those with a large following, offer paid reviews. The price for such a review can vary widely based on the influencer’s reach, ranging anywhere from $50 to $500 or more. Influencers may also offer promotional packages that include posts, stories, and video content along with reviews.
Self-Publishing Platforms: Some self-publishing platforms (like BookBub or Goodreads giveaways) offer ways to get reviews, but these can also come with fees for advertising or promotional spots. BookBub’s featured deals, for instance, can cost upwards of $100.
